History and Folklore
In Ancient Egypt, the god of wisdom, Toth, dictated the secrets of magick and alchemy to Hermes Trismegistus on an emerald tablet.
It has been believed that emerald amulets could calm storms, prevent miscarriages, bring good luck, and when placed under the tongue, allow one to phrophesy.
