What's Going On?

Ancestors And The Beloved Dead

Every October in honor of Samhain, I like to honor those people who have passed who have had a significant impact on modern Witchcraft and Paganism. (for better or worse). In this spirit, I invite you to join with me to remember our history through our dead by creating and editing biography pages for them. I know some of you are in the Southern Hemisphere and are getting ready for Beltane, but I hope you'll play along too.

Read Along For October:The Pagan Book of Living and Dying

As we remember our ancestors this season, I thought it would be appropriate to explore the subject of death more thoroughly by taking a look at a book on the subject that's been around for quite some time and remains probably the most well-known, and maybe even the most authoritative book on the subject; The Pagan Book of Living and Dying: Practical Rituals, Prayers, Blessings and Meditations on Crossing Over by Starhawk and M. Macha Nightmare.

Litany Of The Dead Samhain 2014

Many people like to read a Litany of the Dead as part of their Samhain and Day of the Dead celebrations. This year (and in the future) we thought it would be nice to provide a list for your convenience as well as to offer the community a place to honor their own dead from this past year. his year marked the transition of several people who greatly impacted not just the culture of the magical community, the greater culture we live in.

What's New?

This most sacred season we like to take stock of what we have, remember what we've lost and prepare for new adventures ahead. We are cleaning house, fixing stuff and making way for new adventures. Please excuse our dust!
