Key of the Storm by Darren Storer takes us on a journey into his psyche. It is a place where dark meets light and dialogues of the dead are not uncommon. Here you will meet Gods, philosophers and shadows of the soul. I read this book in one go, once I had started, I couldn't put it down.

The Key of the Storm is a fascinating journal of a soul's progress through the worlds Between the worlds. It's a powerful account of a man either plagued or gifted with visions and mystical experiences and his, at times frustrating, attempts to comprehend them. For those of us who have experienced the mysteries created when adjacent realms of existence intersect with ours, The Key of the Storm is a powerful book. Part prose, part poetry, the journal is written in a slightly archaic voice that is entirely natural to the context and interspersed with fine illustrations. In the In Between, we encounter gods, goddesses, and other souls. This book will appeal to mystics, shamans, and seekers, but it's really for all of us who need to understand what lies beyond this plane of existence and what may happen to our souls once we reach the In Between. It's the story of the soul and it's journey through birth, death, and rebirth

I've been lucky enough to have had a read of this journey and dont worry Im not going to tell you the end , As they say its the getting there that is half the fun .It is a well written journey and the identities that you meet along the way are really well described and are close to my hart and any Pagans hart, as you travel with the main character you cant help but exprence all that is happening around you! a great read , I loved it , one that I will happerly share with others , a bit of dark and light mystery , just the way I like it really :}
THE KEY OF THE STORM, presented by Scandinavian publisher of esoteric works, Whyte Tracks, was launched successfully in London, amidst a howling Winter gale with early fans and late books as, true to form, enigmatic circumstances surrounded the event. The book is a personal journal recounting the authors moments between life and death, during a terrible accident. Storer submitted this very private collection of visionary record and bleak poetry to be compiled into a book for friends and family little realizing thestorm it would create in Occult circles.
"I didn't know whether I was doing so purely as a cathartic exercise, or with the hope of it being published." Storer says he " . . was amazed to find that people liked it."
Reviewers are either thrilled or discomforted by the book. Wiccan High Priestess Morgana writes: ". . do we ever know if we cross that thin line between sanity and utter madness? In reading this (the Key of the Storm) we can find comfort in being just the observer, yet who knows what may happen to us when we close our own eyes."
And H McAlendin: ".. not for the faint of heart, the Key of the Storm will open up a part of your mind where you may not have dared go before."
And Waterstones readers say ". . fascinating topic and an amazing writer too." "Well worth a look, can't wait to get the book when it comes out . . brilliant stuff "
Phil Carter I cannot wait to read your book Darren! Brilliant!

I really enjoyed the honesty and reality that the author exposed with his writing. At times he almost seemed to be raw with emotions and feelings and although the subject matter is a bit new to me, it gave me something to actually THINK about rather than being yet another brainless subject that one reads, puts back on the shelf, never to be thought of again. I too have had a few astral trips this past 6 months so when I read this book, it was actually nice to know that 1) I wasn't crazy. 2) This has occurred for an extended period of time for someone else 3) It actually gave me some insight. 4) I really dislike a book that you already know how its going to end before you get to the last few chapters; such wasn't the case with this book!

For anyone who enjoys pathworking (guided fantasy) or working with inner journeys this book will come as a welcome addition to their references.

A visionary book of the In Between-a life after death
Publisher Whyte Tracks is proud to present The Key of the Storm by D W Storer.
This is a personal journal of passion, betrayal and the painful results of Occult experiments that failed. The narrative follows the souls path through the Astral planes by a series of interweaving visions and stark poetry which draw the reader along a strange and beguiling journey beyond time.
It is a journey punctuated by choices, quests and enlightenment, of facing truths, of the eternal dichotomy between light and dark, and of the dangers that wait beyond the veil.
This is a book you will want to read again. And again.
